my husband and i get caught up in the daily grind from time to time, but when we do, as soon as one of us realizes it, we take time out, get a sitter and have a night out together!

it helps us reconnect and forget about all the other stuff that consume our minds on a daily basis.

so, do you think that this is something people forget to do??
do you think it could help most of the people on here with marriage problems??
does dating your spouse/partner help keep your relationship alive and thriving??

Yes, I know from experience that it does help.
My hubby and I have been married for 25 years.
About 10 years ago, we was having a lot of troubles with our relationship. We started having date nights and had a blast and reconnected. We was living only to survive, house bills, family, etc.
Now we take time out for ourselves and we re-kindled our love. We are even more close now then before.

Good question, faith

It's awesome that you guys do that. I bet if more couples did that, then there would be a lot less divorces.
