Go see your doctor ASAP! It may be nothing but why take a chance.

With the gall bladder surgery healing, I would call your OB asap. You shouldn't be having cramping. Of course, if bleeding or spotting is accompanying this, go to the ER. It could be something as minor as your body is just adjusting to everything that was and is going on (recovering from surgery and then a pregnancy). Or it could be signs of a threat of miscarriage. I would call your OB and see what they say - if nothing else, you'll have piece of mind that you know what IS happening for sure. They can do an ultrasound and tell for sure. Best Wishes! You've really been through the wringer with all of this!

The pains you are feeling may be related to the surgery you just underwent. As well it could be your lower abdomen and uterus stretching as your pregnancy progresses. If you feel that you tummy is looking quite swollen, more so than normal and is tender to the touch you should visit your family doctor or visit a walk in clinic. Always better safe than sorry when there is a little one on the way.
I hope this helps.

Period-like pains can be normal during pregnancy. If the pains persist, increase in frequency, or if the level of pain increases, I would consult with your OBGYN immediately. Having gone through abdominal surgery myself (4 times), I know that it is common to have light pains around the incisions. As your pregnancy continues and your belly grows, you are likely to feel pain in the incision areas (often, this is due to adhesions that formed around the incision site). After my last surgery, I had mild pain around my incision sites before I even became pregnant. Again, if the pain is strong and persistent...please, contact your doctor.

Period like cramps are totally normal. ALmost all woman experience them. They last until you're second trimester in some cases, and are usually replaced by stretching tendons, and eventually braxton hicks.

You're fine.

Honestly, the you should talk to your doctor. He knows about your medical history then we do...especially with a prior miscarriage and a surgery couple of weeks ago.
Good Luck!

Are you sure your only 4 weeks. (You could be more than 4 weeks.) I think you should go to the doctor just to make sure all is well.
