I had a little Green in my discharge a few mintues ok... I called my doctor and he said Id be fine until my docotrs appointment today at 1. But my mom told me that when theres green in your mucus it usually means the baby pooped in you and thats not good... When I go to my doctor is there a way they can determine if thats what really happened

If you have a greenish vaginal discharge this is usually a sign of some sort of infection.
If your baby has passed meconium (poo) in utero then it wouldn't be showing in your vaginal discharge - unless your vaginal discharge is actually leaking amniotic fluid and you are in labour and need to delivery your baby quickly in case the baby inhales the meconium - I'm pretty sure your mum isn't right on this occasion.

the merconium can't come out of the water sac that your baby is in. so if he pooped which usually doesn't happen until a day or so before labor at the most, it's still in there unless your water broke.. and when I was about 8 1/2 months my mucus plug started to deteriorate and i had bright yellow discharge several times and it was fine. it's not baby poop.

My doctor told me if that happened I have to get to the hospital ASAP. It usually means the baby pooped and is digesting her own poop...very dangerous.
If I was you I wouldn't wait until your appointment.

Green or yellow discharge can sometimes indicate infection. If you have an appointment this afternoon, mention it again and your doctor will a) examine you; and b) explain what the colored discharge means.

A little green discharge with no foul smell is normal and okay. Its when its globs of it and it smells like death that you have a problem.
Just like the mucus from your nose can be green, from time to time the mucus from your vagina can be too.

it's possible that the baby did poop.. i'm not sure what they can do about it.. but at least you have an appointment today.. best of luck..
