If you want truly wild, I suppose lion. It's the symbol of University City, where I live, and I loved the movie "Lion King." The lions in the zoo are beautiful, but I feel bad about them being penned up.
Having said that, I must get to the St. Louis Zoo, which I understand is a model for having natural habits for the animals to the extent possible.
