Hve u watched the movie FAIRY TALE (1997) - do u believe in fairies?

the girls claimed that one of the 5 photgraphs which they took was real - is it?

Nope.
They were all fakes.
They even showed people the books they cut the illustrations out of.
For young girls, they pulled off a masterful bit of chicanery, but that's all it was.

The Cottingley Fairy Photographs are fake. Frances Griffiths and Elsie Wright admitted as much in 1983. They said that they were playing a trick on Frances' parents after they made fun of Frances for claiming to have seen fairies.

Interestingly, Frances continued to insist that although the photographs were fake, she had indeed seen real fairies in Cottingley. She never wavered in this assertion for the rest of her life.

Have you seen these photos ? I am an artist, and it is easy for me to see that they are all poor fakes. The girls just cut out some illustrations from children's books and pinned them in place. I read that the girls admitted all were fakes, and they quite obviously were. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle wrote about this stuff for "The Strand'. He believed in such nonsense as ghosts and fairies. His pal Harry Houdini exposed many fake mediums. Sir Arthur was not pleased. A photographer said the photos were not faked. He was evidently incompetent.
