More than likely yes. You are already enough along to be induced and the only way to cure preeclampsia is to deliver, however it is still possible to get preeclampsia for up to 12 weeks after you deliver... I did and was in the hospital for 4 days. Just take care of yourself...drink plenty of fluid and rest rest rest ... ecspecially on your left side... Good luck darlin'!

Only if its severe, more likely than not they will put you on bed rest.

You will have swelling and headaches later in pregnancy, those things alone are not signs of issue.

Its swift swelling of the face, coupled by high BP, spotty vision, and high protein in the urine that idicates preeclampsia.

depends on the extent of it, if its slight, then usually bedrest and fluids are in order. If it gets high to the point where it may be a danger to your unborn child then yes you could be induced.

No, you don't automatically have to get induced. BUT, please talk to your doctor about what to expect after you give birth. What medications you should be expect to be given and what to do if your blood pressure doesn't go down.

My sister was poorly handled after her son was born. They did not provide her with the medication she needed to reduce her blood pressure.

I'm not trying to scare you, but her blood pressure rose so high that it caused a stroke and she died.

She didn't know what to expect - she didn't know what to demand. BE INFORMED.
