I want to know what you spent your last child support payment on? Was it for the child? Or was it for your car payment? Or was it for your rent?
Or was it spent on some new things for yourself ? Or got ur nails and hair done??

I REALLY WANT TO KNOW BECAUSE I GET VERY MAD WHEN I SEE MOTHERS SPENDING THIS MONEY ON THEMSELVES RATHER THAN FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE CHILD!
ALSO I REALLY THINK WOMEN WHO GET CHILD SUPPORT NEED TO SHOW WHAT EXACTLY THEY USE THIS MONEY FOR TO SHOW TO THE COURT SYSTEMS!

Of course I understand women who are using it to pay for daycare or use it for food in the house or making ends meet but I see tooooo many mothers using it for their new boyfriend or a new hoochie outfit!

Also I think mothers who get child support need to require financial counseling.

I agree with you! I used to pay $1200. per month and the kids never had school supplies, new clothes, or anything else they needed. Even though I paid all this support, I paid for their medical, dental, eye and prescriptions needs, along with school supplies and new clothes.
I finally had enough and took her to court with reams of receipts and the courts agreed that it appeared that she wasn't taking care of the kids properly and she then started to have to show where the money went.
It wasn't too long after that the courts took the kids away from her and gave them to me.
Keep your head up, keep records, keep receipts, document everything and then take her to court to make her show where the kids money is going!

Well...are we talking about a mother who collects child support but also works? If that is the case it is none of your business.

A man who fathers a child has a moral and legal obligation to provide support for the child based on their means and current income.

If she doesn't work, and therefore is likely on assistance, court ordered support would be garnished (or at least a portion of it) by the welfare agency.

If you don't like it. Apply for custody and you can decide what is spent where.

Bitter much?

Child support is not an itemization of every need of the child - it's an amount that is to applied to the day to day raising expenses of a child.

I don't know where you see these women who spend it on their boyfriends and clothing for themselve at - most mother's I know are receiving such a pittance worth of child support they are lucky to have two cents to rub together to give their kids a single "extra".

By the way - as the other poster commented - it's none of your business - got an issue then take up with your ex.

Hmmm. No responses from the women. Wonder why... As a man who was a single parent, I can say that I got less than 1 year's child support from his mother -- it was only supposed to be $100 a month. Can you say "Dead Beat?" As for how I chose to spend that pittance -- it's no ones business but mine! Did I spend it appropriately? Yes.

How do you artwork that a mom isn't paying something in the direction of the upbringing of a youngster for the subsequent twenty years? Do you truthfully think of the youngster help the daddy will pay covers all the charges linked with elevating a toddler? in case you do, you reside in delusion land. in maximum circumstances (except we are speaking on the topic of the likes of Tiger Woods, i.e. insanely wealthy human beings), toddler help would not ever conceal 0.5 of what it costs to maintain a toddler alive, knowledgeable and entertained.
