Anne Boleyn. This is just a myth. If Anne had actually had six fingers she never would had been Queen. Deformities were viewed as evil omens.

Anne Boleyn. Henry VIII had her beheaded and believed she was a witch, and her extra finger was a sign of her being a witch.
I think this is correct.

it was rumoured Anne Boleyn. but a woman with such deformities would never have been queen.... there was a big hate campaign against her and she was made out to be a villain, where as her only fault was to be an attractive and very intelligent woman in a male dominated era.
don't think she was ac cussed of witch craft... just elaborated stories from Henry viii insecurities of treason infidelity and incest,,,, a total set up .

Anne Boleyn who was his second wife was said to have eleven fingers. She was thought to be a witch by some people because obviously it was so unusual to have an extra finger. She was eventually beheaded.

Definitely Anne Boleyn. When Henry decided to divorce her for a younger model it was one of the things that he used as evidence against her in order to convict her of treason. He argued that because she had too many fingers she must be a witch. Amazing what people believed in those days! Poor woman, among other things, it helped to seal her fate of beheading.

Anne Boleyn
For twenty years after her death, Anne was seldom discussed, although in ultra-Catholic circles several dark legends were deliberately nurtured - particularly the stories of her deformities which were concocted to prove that she had been linked to the Devil through witchcraft.
