I live 6 months per year in Las Vegas and as the other poster said, I never rains in Vegas.
The other 6 months I live in Hungary and yes, sometimes I do carry an umbrella with me. It has come in handy many times.Some days I carry it all day long when the report was rain and it never rained!I think it would of rained if I hadn't carried my umbrella.

I am 62 years young and have never carried an umbrella at all. I guess I just knew how to keep dry.

Hardly ever, I live on a Greek island so I don;t need one that often. When it rains here, it really rains though and it's usually accompanied by gale force winds so an umbrella is no good anyway!!!

Never. I have carried them in the past. But I found either I didn't need one because it didn't rain, or the wind blew strongly with the rain, thus destroying the brolly, or I left it behind somewhere. For me they are a complete waste of time.

NO! I usually wear a Australian Bush Hat that keeps the rain from hitting me in the face, and since its only water that is falling on me, I drip dry very quickly!

I did when we lived in Germany! The rain is more predictable here in Georgia, so I have one in my car, one in the house, and one at work. Inevitably they all end up in the car, though.
