Yes! Unfortunately it makes me emotional and very sensitive. All you have to do is look at me weird and I will start to cry!

Yes. They control many things from your appetite to your sex drive. Deficiencies in things like testosterone can also signal adrenal depletion - DHEA is a precursor to it and the other sex hormones and along with cortisol can become depleted because of stress, a bad diet and other factors. In turn, this can lead to depression, constant fatigue (even severe, to being unable to get out of bed) and irritability.

That's why it's important to eat a good diet, exercise regularly and manage stress correctly. :)

As an aside, serotonin takes a dip right before the period begins. This results in what we know as "PMS". Low serotonin is linked to depression.

Women use hormones as an excuse for their behavior. A woman is able to control her self and her mood but it takes strengh and its not easy. Usually they go for the easy way and blame everything on hormones. Men have hormones too, we have cyclical moods also.
