it is showing the worst on the grooves that make up the natural imperfections in the wood. it almost looks like soap scum.

It is equal over all the cabinets; It is not just near the stove.

Actually the problem would less likely be caused by heat than it would be attributed to moisture/Humidity,,,and the manner in which the clear coat was applied; and the agents in whatever brand or formulation you used.

Were the cabinets RAW initially? What was the true substance of the clear coat? Poly Eurethane?

With all due respect; "RESTORE" is an unlikely option; without stripping and starting over.

The poly on your cabinets is lifting, if they are under warranty call them if not it's gonna be a job of stripping it off sanding and reapplying a layer. Get estimates from cabinet shops or painters
