Can't say that I do. I have bought a couple of bits in there but they never washed well and were of very poor quality. I shop at factory outlets so you get really good clothes, like gap, at half the price of primark.

Primark is a very trendy store, for the cost of the items you can afford to be in fashion all the time and with little cost, if you are lucky and buy the right item you can even put it on ebay and make a profit. Ladies clothes are excellent, I still think the blokes side isn't any good, but still worth a look.

Primark is OK for something really cheap and cheerful to perhaps take on holiday or just wear a couple of times and throw away. I don't often see stuff in there I really like, but it is certainly cheap. I think New Look has better designed clothes and is also good value for money.

Love shopping there, but having worked there, I can definitely say NEVER AGAIN!! It's a brill shop though - I bought a pair of combat pants and a belt, two striped long sleeved T shirts, some legwarmers - for a fancy dress, some beads and matching earrings, some leggings and a rara skirt - also for the fancy dress. All that stuff cost me £29. Brilliant! It's the one shop where you just pick stuff up, throw it over your arm, and as you're going round collecting more and more stuff, you start thinking 'can I afford this? This is gonna kill me!' then you get to the tills and you've spent less than half of what you expected to! The one in Manchester is fab too - it's so huge, and even if the stuff is crappy quality, it doesn't matter cos it looks good for the month or so you wear it!

Primark is like false economy. The items are not expensive but they fall apart after a few washes or lose their colour. If you buy an item thats a little more expensive from a better store, then the item will last longer and you will not have to replace it. I get my clothes from Stores like GAP and Rackhams and Beatties. I never pay full price, i buy in the sales. Good quality item for the same price you buy at Primark for.

I really like it. I have to say that I haven't found any issue with clothes falling apart, but I always wash at 30 degrees for everything except whites. I've found people who moan haven't discovered cool washing (modern detergents work at 30).
You have to be willing to experiment with sizes- unlike most shops you can't trust them to be 'your usual' size.
Obviously it would be cheap to wear head-to-toe, I tend to mix trendy bits with classics from Gap, Topshop and Debenhams, plus a designer touch here and there. People usually assume the Primark item is the posh one! That can lead to red faces if they swear they can tell cheap clothing from expensive!
To avoid the bad shopping experience, I usually go in the morning- it is tidy and the students/kids/doleys haven't got up yet and descended on it!
They are useful for household goods too.

It's alright for cheap holiday tops and things but the clothes fall apart in the wash and I hate the fact that their clothes are from very dodgey roots i.e. sweatshops

I've tried, I really have. Maybe it is just my local store that is bad- but i'd rather go to tesco or sainsburys or new look if i want a cheap alternative. I've found it full of badly sewn man made fibres in hideous colours.
