I turn the TV on every night after dinner and homework is done. I am usually doing something else while I am "watching" though, so I really don't watch that much. There are not very many shows that I really watch enough to like them and be a faithful viewer...I guess it is more of a habit for me. I feel more lonely without the sound of the TV on.

About 10 hours if I am lucky.
Mostly the news. By the time I get home from work after sitting in traffic, cook dinner, maybe do a load of laundry, or some other household task, research for my dissertation...it is usually time for the late night news. Occasionally, I can watch other shows when I decide to eat out and ditch my chores.

oh gee. i wish i hadn't seen that question!!!!!!! ( lol) . I have become addicted to " murder, she wrote," reruns of the Walton's, Little house on the prairie, and matlock. ( hallmark channel.) and i crochet while I watch. The only exception, is at 5, The X-_Files. Which i watch, not just use for background noise. i don't do soaps, ( ewww, a total waste of time, if u ask me!!) game shows, reality tv, or sitcoms. I prefer mature tv, i also do cold case files, and sometimes csi miami. I do watch on thursdays, the original csi, and I LOVE ghost whisperer, and cold case.

Not as much as I spend here. Sometimes, I think I watch tv when I need a break from answers. Besides, there's a hundred channels with nothing worth watching on them.
