Yes. twenty 20 is a great victory. This time India did not start as a hot favourite. The below par performance in the last world cup still haunting the minds. It was left to the thought that it will be "also in the race" affair. But the slow but steady performance started giving hopes. But still it was not an easy task to tackle teams like England, South Africa and Australia. India had to take every match as to that of a final and they did it. And that made the difference. Wonderful batting performance from Gautham Gambir, Shewag, The blood thirsty sixes from Yuvaraj, his 50 for 12 and subsequently his 50 for 20, Sarmas useful timely contribution exhibited the real strength of the Indian Batting. Likewise, R.P. Sing, Srisanth, Harbajan, Irfan kept their consistency throughout the series, except a very few occasions where the bowlers had to taste hard treatment from the opponent batsmen which was but natural in a 20 over match. But still they kept their nerves and showed their class. To summarise, batting, bowling as well as fielding of a high standard to be in finals was there and the team's enhanced morale clinched the cup. Hats off to Indian Team. Really a great victory.

It was an unbeliable, fantastic and great victory for india because no one had given any chance for this Indian team even to reach semi final stage and people have been making statements that India will, be crushed by Australia, South Africa and Pakistan. By their winning the world cup, the Indian team proved every one wrong as they excelled in batting, bowling and fielding.

It was truely a nailbitter of a game. India did fairly good in batting but if it wasnt for the bowlers contribution they definately wouldnt have won the match for sure.

Everthing about the twenty 20 world cup was good. Batting, fielding, bowling .......................almost everything you know. Maahi's captaincy was good, Gambhir's batting was good, Yuvis 6 sixers were good, Sreesanth's catch in the end of the final was good, R.P. singh's bowling was good.
