(Couldn't find the original Heinz ad, which would be shorter and funnier. sigh.)

A two game lead doesn't sound like much but with only six games to play it is huge. If the Mets just go 3-3 their last six games the Phillies would have to win all of their final six games to finish ahead of the Mets and win the division. The Mets look to be in a good position to me.

Yeah Red Sox are in the same position as the Mets with the Yankees 2 games behind them. It is very nerve racking.
Best of luck to the Mets!

If the Phillies had played and lost, how could there be a one game lead?

You might be the only Mets fan wanting the playoffs to come, the rest are scared of the reality of them being swept out in the 1st round by any of the teams playing solid baseball right now.
