I will offer my assistance in any question you have & do my best to help, but, I'm no lawyer, just a willing helper. I like searching the web for people , looking for links to their question, so, I'll help you.

Just because you've been to college does not mean you're smarter than everyone else, hon, although you probably know more than the average Joe about your major.
Your family is probably just trying to be helpful. If you don't want their help, don't let them know you are struggling! Lock yourself in your room or go to the law library to study.
Listen to your fiance (that's the courteous thing to do), then explain why his explanation is not plausible. Maybe you'll get the right answer by walking through it like that!
Otherwise, only ask qualified people for help. If you ask people who can't possibly know the correct answer, don't get aggravated when they give you a wrong one!

Hell yeah! I know how you feel, I know some people you can't even ask what time it is or they'll tell you how to build a clock! Others I know better than to say, "Well I need to get this done the next chance I get" or I get quizzed on HOW I'm going to go about doing it. THEN I get a detailed explanation of how I SHOULD be doing it even though it may be completely inapplicable to my situation and next thing you know, there went 30 minutes of my life I'll never get back!

Dunno bout you, but I try to be real careful who I mention problems to. In this case, I have several attorneys that I hang with, and there's no one else that I would even think about bringing it up to.
