No one.
as of this morning they are the best team in the NFC. they have the NFL highest scoring offense (116 pts in 3 games) and their points scored against trend is lowering (35, 20, 10) so their defense is really starting to click.
You can make and argument for the Packers, but the stats don't stack up favorable for the Packers.
The next three teams for the Cowboys are the Rams, Vikes, and the Pats.
The Pats game could be a preview of the Superbowl.
The two trends I'm watching closest is the pts scored/ pts allowed. Both are improving weekly. This translates to both the offense and the defense getting better as the campaign goes on. (Hell, they just dropped 34 points on the supposed best defense in the NFC! Mind you if you take out the defense scores it's not 34 (it's actually 27) but you get the pictures).
As to the Bears beating them in the Post season...well Chicago has to get there first. The Cowboys put a physical whupping on them putting 4 players on the DL. All of the on the Defense....none of them season ending injuries but those players will be out 3-6 weeks. their current record is 1-2 In the next 6 weeks they will play the Lions twice, Raiders, Vikings, Packers, and Eagles. They will be lucky to walk out of those weeks winning half of them which would put their record at 4-5. You're not going to the post season playing like that.

LOL at the guy who said the Bears.
No one is even close RIGHT now. But, its a long season and alot can happen. The Packers look good, but i dont think they are going to keep this up all year. The Saints are done, the Bears look like a 9-7 team, The seahawks and panthers are to unpredictable, and the 49ers are overrated.
The Cowboys, are not only the best NFC team, but I think they are the only team other then the Colts in Football who could give the Pats a good game right now.

I think you have to look at the broad picture and realize that we are only going on week 4. A lot can happen in a season: namely injuries and upsets. I look to the Cowboys to be playoff contenders, certainly, but also the Packers. Between Favre's arm and their D, I believe that the Packers will be tough to beat, especially at home. Moving on to the Eagles... I know a lot of us dismissed them at the beginning of the season, but they came out to kill on Sunday and the old McNabb appears to be lurking in the shadows again. I put the Eagles in the running this year- still. And my beloved Bears. Well friend, if the Bears can get and stay healthy (especially on the D), overthrow the tyranny of Rex Grossman, and start consistantly running the ball, you may have a playoff team there again. Also, you are correct in factoring in the weather.

Dallas is easily the best team in the NFC. Most people assumed that losing Parcells would be a huge disadvantage, but so far, Phillips is showing that he's more than capable to picking up where Parcells left off. They've got a fantastic defense, the've got an offensive front line that's reminiscent of the one we had in the dominant 90's, and we've finally got a QB and a couple RBs (Romo, Jones, Barber) that could potentially be as dynamic as we had with Aikman and Emmitt. We've also got fantastic receivers in Owens and Glenn, and there are few TEs who are better than Witten.

Everyone wondered how Tony Romo would handle the start of this season after the playoff debacle. Well, he is running on all cyclinders and I am glad for him. I also am a fan of Wade Phillips and you have to hand it to the Tuna in that he left the cupboard full for him. It certainly looks like Dallas is the team to beat in the NFC. As for my Saints they are toast. Go figure..

GREEN BAY !!! Don't use the weather as an excuse. It's hot or cold for both teams. The players come from all over the country. They weren't born and raised here.Favre is from Mississippi ( talk about hot). Romo is from Wisconsin ( talk about cold) But if you are the "best" team you will certainly have home field advantage and you won't have to worry if it is too cold or too hot it will be just right. I'm just glad we both have something to cheer about this year. PS Thanks for beating the snot out of the Bears it was a good game.

No one is better right now. I guess the Bear fans didn't watch the game this week. The Bears got spanked!! Packers maybe, but the Cowboys are the best in the NFC.

Don't count out the Skins or the Packers. Skins already have 2 wins under their belt, and the Pack is undefeated. I can't wait to see how the rest of the season pans out.
As for Chicago... if they could trade the gross man to Seattle, then maybe they could make the playoffs.
