is it right for a person to judge you just by that one careless mistake...??

People will judge you no matter what you do. It all comes down to how you feel about your mistake. Can you learn something from it, or was it just plain stupid.
Remember other peoples opinion about what you do is only
THEIR opinion and you shouldn't take too much stock in what they think. It is all about how you feel about yourself that matters in the end.

No one should be "judged" by JUST ONE CARELESS MISTAKE ... And if you make a mistake or do something
unintentional ... Then you ADMIT that you made a mistake and you ask to be forgiven.
And finally ... you asked "Does anyone have the right to tag
you as selfish?" I say it depends on WHO that person is ...
How well that person knows you ... AND MOST importantly
what their motives are.
If someone that really cares about you and knows you very
well tells you that you are selfish ... Because that person is
hoping to help you to take an honest look at yourself ... and
make a change for the better. Then OF COURSE that
person has EVERY right. (it could be a family member or
a close friend ... ) And under those circumstances ... You
should be grateful that person cares enough about you to
tell you the TRUTH to your face ... As oppose to talking about
you behind your back. Again you now have an opportunity
to make some adjustments and change for the better!
However, if someone that hardly knows you ... Or someone
that truly DOES NOT care about you makes a negative
statement about you ... Then I would say that person DOES
NOT have the right to "tag" or "label" you (even though that
is what they are trying to do!) And in THAT case ... YOU
SHOULD DISREGARD their comments.
Remember ... when someone speaks the truth to you "in love"
or with loving concern. Then you HAVE TO look at that has
an opportunity to learn (something about YOURSELF!) and
take it has an opportunity to grow and mature!

A mistake is always something we never intended to do! To err is human; it's no fault of the mind! Those who condemn it are very unkind! Sweetie it is free world and so people think they have a right to tag people. However, you don't have to be what you are tagged!!!

When you make a mistake you try to correct it as soon as possible. Even if you have to admit to loves ones and friends that you were wrong in whatever you did. Apologize if necessary and is called for, admit you were in the wrong and ask for forgiveness. Then try to never put yourself in that situation again. Good Luck.

no, they do not have the right to. commiting one mistake that you do not mean at all is not equivalent to judging you who you really are. it takes time to know a person.

people are going to judge you.. that's the bad thing that we have been burdened with, the ability to judge people... there is no way around it..
this is where you have to be strong... ignore those who judge you-- it will only bring you down...
surrond yourself with positive people, people who love you and wouldnt hurt you..
it's going to be hard to find someone that WILL NOT judge you for your past decisions.. but it s possible.. you will find someone i can promise you that! there ARE good people out there that dont judge you for your mistakes...
