So Mary and Mariah are to release their cd on the same day, I personally being the Mary J. #1 fan think that she's going to out sell Mariah, but my co workers seems to differ, just wanted to know your opinions about it. Do you think Mariah will out sell Mary J. Blige ??

Unfortunately, Mariah Carey has a broader audience, so I believe she will sell more. HOWEVA!!!!! I intend on buying TWO Mary J. CD's to have just in case my sista's come by and klepto the first one!!! lol Mary did well with this last CD, but I don't think she has the international or crossover fan base that Mariah does. BUT SHE'S GETTING THERE!!!

I think that Mariah might get this one. I personaly like Mary J. Blige more. But there are lots of Mariah fans of all ages out there.

I don't know if she still has the crown, but Mariah has had more #1's, than most people. I love Mary, but vocally Mariah blows her out of the water.

Sorry but MJB is a bit overrated...(just my opinion) She is a great singer with a great voice but yeah...Overrated...
Also you have to take into consideration their last album sales...Mariah's last CD "The emancipation of Mimi" was an Awesome Cd!! I LOVED it and still do listen to it every now and then!!
I don't even remember what or when Mary J's last album was called or when it was released??
So personally i will be buying the Mariah Carey's and i know i will not be the only one!!! :-)
