plug in the # of minutes used to find the total cost

of course you will have miscellaneous taxes and fees added to your total :-(

This wouldn't really be a line. It would be 2 lines that intersect at 900,40.

Assume the x-axis is minutes and the y-axis is dollars.

for 0 ≤ x ≤ 900

y = 40

for 900 ≤ x ≤ total minutes for that month

y = 0.06x - 14

C = .06X + 40
