Is the current Vishakapatnam weather good for a planned vacation.?

I have a vacation planned for the next weekend in Vishakapatnam. In light of the bad coastal weather prevailing I’m trying to figure out whether I need to cancel it. I couldn’t find a good online resource. Can someone (especially from Vizag) provide me with some information.

I wanted to know whether it’s safe to go there and will I be able to enjoy the beach…

i went a month ago to visak, it was raining heavily.
but it was enjoyable
