when you get a blood test for pregnancy, do they give you the results right then, or do you have to wait to get them?

through the docs office you have to wait a day or so, because they send the blood to a lab.. if you have it done at the hospital, they have a lab there.. results immediately.

Blood has to be sent to the lab, and usually tested in the order received. Depending on the back log, you may have to wait a day or so, especially if the sample has to be sent out to the lab. Many offices don't have the testing facility on site.

The person who takes the blood has to send it to a lab. The results will be sent to your doctor in a day or so

if you get the blood test done at the hospital you will get the results within an hour but if you go to your doctor you will probably know within 48-72 hours. they will tell you at the hospital how far along you are.

you have to wait, it usually take the lab 3 days to get the results to the Dr unless he orders it STAT then he can get it within 24 hours.

I had to wait. I got my results from my DR not from the lab. The waiting is awful!!!!
