I like beer better. It's been a while since I've had one but I never cared for wine.
The best beer I had was while stationed in Germany. The flavor was fantastic and full bodied. There are some fine beers here too. All the new micro-beers smell wonderful. I wish I could sample some but I've taken the pledge.

That is absolutely true. The recommended "dosage" is 2 pints a day for men, and 1 pint a day for women. This also translates to wine, but beer is so much more beneficial! Some facts: 1) Darker-colored beers contain just as many antioxidants as red wine, but those contained in the beer are less complex and more easily broken down by the body... therefore beer is better, as far as antioxidants are concerned. 2) Milk Stouts and Cream Stouts and some other stouts contain Lactic Acid. Doctors often recommend small amounts of these beers to nursing mothers to increase lactation. 3) Hoppy beer has been linked to stimulation of certain brain cells, resulting in improved short-term memory (in moderate amounts). Hops, in general (as in all beers) stimulate brain function. 4) Certain beers are known to improve blood circulation and heart health. Alcohol, in general, is a blood thinner, so all types of alcohol, in moderate amounts, will prevent clotting. 5) Malty beers are good for the complexion and the hair. The key is all things in moderation. Drink less, drink better. And keep in mind, these are only a few examples... there are MANY more! Because of these and other reasons, it is actually healthier for someone to drink moderately every day, than it is to never drink at all! So much for the neo-Prohibitionists!

i personally love both. for me it depends on the meal i'm having, and my mood.
Wine has a higher alcohol content whereas even the highest IPAs are only about 7-8%. If you get something like DogFishHead 120minute IPA @ 20% alcohol, you're going to pay $9 per 12oz bottle. But that beer is almost like a wine.....
of course, you can always go the middle route and get a Barley Wine, which is essentially a beer with wine properties.
for wine, i like Port or Pino Grigio.
for beers i prefer to TASTE my beer, not the carbonation like in Bud, Miller, etc. so i like to get labels like Stoudts, DogFishHead, DuClaw, Stone Brewing... it's actually about the same if you break the price down per bottle, but there's not as much carbonation to mask the serious lack of flavor. People who drink Bud & the like are probably only drinking it to drink or get drunk---because if they liked the flavor of beer, they'd buy something they could TASTE not belch.

I like both actually, i really can't decide, depends on the mood. I preffer White wine over red because it doesnt color your teeth. I generally like any Chardonnay thats been brewed for at least 2 years and the best beer to pass around is Heiniken of course.

Ugh, 2 buck chuck will give you the worst hangover ever. Stay away from it. As for wine or beer, it depends what I am eating.

The only wine I like is a "pop" wine like Boone's Farm so I guess I like beer better. I like Michelob Ultra and Bud Light. I don't know that they are the best, though. I just like them the best.
