What sort of "maintenance" is expected when you go to the gynecologist for a pelvic exam - waxing, shaving, trimming?

Nothing is required. Your doctor has seen everything before. Just do what you normally do.

there is no "maintenance" expected when u go, it is their job to see vaginas everyday, it is totally professional, they dont take anything personal, they would b out of a job if they did. just b yourself, if u wana wax, go for it, dont just do it for a exam though cuz u think thats whats expected of u, just relax and remember it is all professional, they see hundreds if not more a day! It doesnt hurt at all either.

A gynaecologist has seen it all. From the most hairy to the baldest ones imaginable.
She/he won't look twice at the state of your trim, but will purely focus on the pelvis itself.
I would recommend just being clean, that should be enough.
Don't be nervous, relax, and it'll be all right!

no you don´t have to wax shave or anything, if you wer having a surgery, they would shave you; but no for a pelvic exam you are not supossed to do anything.

A GYN ISNT GOING TO CARE WEATHER YOU WAX OR NOT. IV WENT THERE BALD,HAIRY,EVEN MY LEGS WRE HAIRY. THEY JUST CHECK YOU. HES NOT GIONG TO BE CHECKING OUT YOUR PRIVATE UNLESS HES A PERVERT.
