Im so pissed . I have a laptop for school, but I cant afford to get MS Office 07 so I can finish my excel homework. besides, Im not going to pay $600-$700 on a program that is only for one semester .

How can I get it for free?!!!

If you only need it for a short time, download the demo version. It's good for 30 days before they want you to buy it.

go to openoffice.org

it is a free program that does just about everything microsoft office can do. I believe you can even save in microsoft formats so you can do it in open office but open it up on excel

I am an engineer so I had a lot of classes where the homework had to be done in the computer lab because the software needed cost over $1000...So i know exactly how you feel

Get Open Office (http://www.openoffice.org/)

It's free (as in beer) and can do Office format Word, Excel, etc without too much difficulty. I'm not completely sure of it's Office 2007 compatibility (that's Bill's fault) but it works very well with Office 2003 or lower documents.

I do this too. sometimes i don't understand something and that i think of that i might desire to remember that to later ask on Yahoo solutions. regrettably an incredible variety of the time i'm forgeting it until now i'm getting domicile

nah....but when i first moved into this place i didn't have Internet so i USED the library...and got some awesome books-on-cd from the place
