I have a question for all Bear's fans. I'm not a Bear's fan, but I am a huge football fan and I appreciate what the Bears do on defense. Could you imagine what kind of team they would have with a good QB? I'm not saying a great QB, but just a good QB. My question is: I know that Greise isn't the answer to their problems on offense, but isn't it a start!? It's truly a shame what Lovie is letting happen to "Da Bears" because he won't take Wrecks out of the freaking game! Why won't Lovie do something!??
Okay my theory..... Wrecks went to UF. Did anyone see the UF-Tennessee game 2 weeks ago? 2 words: Tim Tebow, Tony Joiner. Does Wrecks have something over Lovie's head!?? Is any of this making any sense now....?

Not sure who the dude was down there, but this is for you. The Bears are a great defensive team! They would be an amazing, unbeatable team, IF they had someone @ QB that wouldn't lose games. Like I was saying, they don't need a Superstar, they just need a good QB that won't lose games!!

Your point is a valid one. Lovie is in danger of losing this team. You can't ask the defense and special teams to score more than the offense every week. This team is ready to implode.

As John Madden said Griese is a band-aid. The Bears may need a tourniquet. But you're right, he's a start. It should be easy for them to pull Rex now, he didn't get a contract extension in the off season, they have no finacial obligation to him after this year. He makes mistakes that wouldn't be acceptable in college ball, at best he's a decent backup QB. He's turned the ball over more than 30 times in the last 17 games. He throws into triple coverage. He's been picked off 6 times this season and only has 1 TD to show for it. I think he still has a job because he was so good in the first part of last season, they wanted to give him a chance to show he could be that quarterback again. But he hasn't improved, in some ways he's gotten worse. I say he's got one maybe two more games before they pull the plug on him.

I agree with you. Rex needs to sit on the bench. It was like night and day when they played the Cowboys. Romo got pressured all game, but he would step away from pressure and make a throw down field. Granted it was to T.O., maybe the best receiver out there. But Rex panics under pressure. When he throws a good ball it is a really pretty throw. But those are happening less and less lately. Most of his throws are either way wide of the receiver or at their feet. Oh yeah, he also likes to throw to the other team a lot.
Greise could not play any worse than Rex has. But your right, it's only a start. If they could have jumped up on the Cowboys early, I think the game would have been different. But the Bears Defense could not cover T.O. at all.

The running game is to inconsistent. If you have a bone crushing D, a good running game is the perfect compliment. The whole offense in general is pretty lame. Sure, a superstar at QB would help, but they have more than just Grossman holding them back. It's just easier to blame one guy.

The Bear's are not a bad team, they just played against the Cowboy's who are an awesome team, and got killed. You cant blame one person for the beating they took at the hands of the Cowboy's. They are a team. They just aren't as good as you guys are trying to make them out to be. Sorry.
