The best places for both would be some of the big stores.

Selfridges (Oxford Street) has a huge perfumery department; just off it you can buy excellent quality chocolates and the more standard brands.

Liberty (Regent Street) has more unusual perfumes, and some of the very best chocolate. It's rather expensive, but a joy to wander around.

Harrods (Knightsbridge) has a wonderful selection of both, of course. I could spend ages in their chocolate department!

Harvey Nichols (Knightsbridge, just up the road from Harrods) has a food hall with chocolates, and also a perfumery department on the ground floor.

For a very English experience, try Fortnum and Mason in Piccadilly. Chocolates on the ground floor; I'm not sure where the perfumes are.

I don't think there are any big stores is Kensington any more. Haven't been there for ages. And I don't think there are any perfume shops; there might be a Thorntons there.

For very unusual chocolates and flavours, there's a "Rococo" in the King's Road. It's small, but they have varieties like rose-scented chocolate, etc.

I can't think of any single shops where they sell perfumes. They usually have a section in the chemists.
