i ll just copy my answer from another question:
1. imran nazir - who shot many 6s + 4s got hurt and a few balls later he got run out ... if pakistan had put in a runner he would have shot many more 6 and 4
2. pakistan was really unlucky in the middle part of the game. Shoaib, Afridi, Younus - almost none of them shot 6s + 4s. cant say why...
3. yea and the last shot for misbah. i think i tries his best but it doesnt work out. i mean pakistan COULD have won. after all they had 4 balls left. I read in an interview that he said to Shoaib that he did want to play to the front but he doesnt even know why he didnt do it in the last second.
finally i think both teams played well. of course i would be happier if pakistan won, but we will definately win the next world cup :)
@ Roshni: i think you arent right. Shoaib had said in several interviews that they would even have bowled first if he had won the toss!

Though Pakistan fought very hard and when it looked like that they will win the match, Miosbah-ul-Haq who was batting brilliantly throughout without any pressure, lost his nerve all of a sudden and attempted a scoop shot, which resulted tragic end of Pakistan. Had he continued to show restrained and avoided such a shot, Pakistan couild have defenitelhy won the match.

Early loss of wickets, Pakistan comming under pressure (their usual attitude), luck favoured a bit and Misbah brought pakistan back in the game but even he could not control his nerves at the end.........!and toss did play a role..had Pakistan won the toss, they would ahve elected to bat and could ahve controlled the indian team with their bowling !The thing was that that was India's day and we were not lucky that day

1. Imraan Nazir's run out was unnecessary and silly
2. Misba ul haq should have batted higher up the order - in place of Kamran Akmal

i think the run out of imran nazir was unfair since he was struglling to run cause of a minor injury. if he was not out then we would of won!
i dont think indias bowling was that great compared with pakistan, we just lost wickets casue of mistakes.
we were missing star players such as akhtar,yousuf,inzy and razaq.

They lost wickets earlier
The opening batsman dint play well
other than that everything was perfect, the bowling & fielding attack was excellent, but they failed to bat well.
