I have three tie dye Tshirts that I wear. I bought the white Tshirts at Goodwill. (New boy's Fruit of the Loom undershrits that I guess were broken loose from the package or irregulars and made their way to Goodwill. They were $1 each.) I dyed them with some friends at and end of the year party before we went our separate ways. (Some of us stayed on campus, but we'd be busy.) The other one white T came from my dad and my sister and I made it at camp one summer. (I did some matching socks, in just one color, but they've gotten holey.)

I don't care if they're "trendy" or "in style". I wear them because I like them.

Try craft stores for the dye, though Rit colors, which I think can be found at Wal-Mart and the like are also good. There are probably good instructions for tie dying on line, even on the Rit site, if there is one. Try searching "tie dye instructions". (I'd look now, but it's past time to get my daughter up to nurse.)
