NILE is the longest river in the world.It has a lengthy of 6650 km while the river Amazon has a length of 6400 km.
Nile is the longest river by length but by volume, Amazon is the largest river(having more volume than river Nile.)

it is the Nile as we speak, but they may have found the headwaters to the Amazon that may extend it past the Nile if proven to be true
