Babysitting. I started out making 35 cents and hour. Then I worked in a boutique, then a really nice department store (Jacobson's-now out of business), then a shop (2 and a half days), then a convenience store (23 years) and now I baby sit four days a week for my daughter (on my third and last year)and work at Meijer (in my 5th year) the other three days. Boring "career"!

Delivering the Des Moines Register at 5am with my sister. We were only 10 and 12 at the time and in the winter it was so cold and the snow would make it so hard to get from house to house.

Hey I know you!!! My first job was a male model. It all started in the second grade when I caught a glimpse of my relfection in a spoon as I was eating my cereal. I realized...I am really, really ridiculously good looking. Maybe I could do that for a living. (Be professionally good looking.)
Actually my first job was sorting mail at ABX(now DHL). Fun.

I first worked at a Hallmark card store. It was fun and close to my house. The owner was very laid back and very nice. I don't think I made much money at that time, but I enjoyed it.
