i have a 91 honda accord ex, it recentlt sprung a leak in between the head and the top radiator hose. my question is though is what is the part that the top water hose connects to that is connected to tha head by two screws. its an aluminum piece iknow but i need the correct name.

i also have another question under the same topic. i also have a 90 chevy lumina eurosport i want to know what is the part that goes fr the front valve cover gasket to the air breather hose. it's a plastic hose iknow but i need the correct name of it.

The part that the top radiator hose hooks to is called the thermostat housing. When replacing just as well get a new thermostat and gasket. The second is a pcv valve hose.

'91 Honda - Thermostat housing
Chevy - Vent for the crankcase. It is not the PCV valve. It only supplies clean air to enter the crankcase. The PCV valve actually pulls the air into the crankcase through that hose.

In regards to the Honda, the part is called a thermostat housing.

How about the "engine thermostat bell housing"? Get all the parts you need cheap on one trip at your local junk yard. Find the parts on http://www.junkyarddog.com http://www.car-parts.com
They list your local junk yard addresses and deliver parts there you order online.

the thermostat, go to advanced and buy a new thermostat and a thermostat gasket and then just screw the new one in place
