ok, so i need 25 pairs of british and american words that have the same meaning for my project like pub=bar. i guess asking 25 pairs is too much so you can just name as many as you want. thanks!

bonnet, hood (piece of metal that covers the engine of a car.... boot, trunk (the other end of the car) Lorry, truck (the big 18 wheel things you see on the road) torch, flashlight (what you take to a haunted house) fortnight, 2 weeks (the minimum time you want to spend away from your ex-wife) tea, supper (the evening meal you want with your mistress) insurrection, revolution (what the war was called that began in 1776).... happy tea party

Oh, all the others took the ones I wanted to tell you. Can only think of: in back/at the back; sidewalk/pavement (if someones else hasn't done that one)
