Where were these fans Pre-2001 ??
USC and Patriots have been around forever, but the fans have only come out of the woodwork the past 6 years.
I love how maybe 1 out of every 100 people claimed they were a fan 7 years ago. Now about 60 out of those 100 are fans.

Lol, dude as a hurricane fan it's like the pot calling the kettle black. I remember the days with Jimmy Johnson at the helm of the hurricanes. They were an awesome bunch and cocky as they come. I thought Jimmy did his recruiting at the detention center. However, as Dizzy Dean use to say it isn't bragging if you can back it up. Miami doesn't have the great teams here of late but they haven't lost their swagger.
As far as USC and the Patriots, generally speaking when they lose they come off as poor sports. With USC the media is so far up Carroll's behind it is sickening. This year Carroll and the media are trying to sell how difficult the PAC-10 is. Yeah right, gimme me a break what B.S.

Sorry, but I like USC and can't stand the Patriots. I respect them, and know they're the best team in the NFL right now, but still can't stand them. Big reason for that is most of their fans are also Red Sux fans, and talk about egotistical fans who have no reason to be...

I think you just defined the word fan...perhaps you need to be a better one. I think its great when people are behind their team no matter what. I don't know if i even need to point out the obvious irony that people are saying that Patriots fans are bandwaggoners and that they support the Red Sox for no reason. Boston/NE fans are anything but bandwaggoners if look at sports history...

I remember when Pats fans use to wear bags over their heads to home games. They should all take a flying leap in my opinion, the Pats still have not played anyone worth mentioning and nobody that will be mentioned come playoff time.
