At my school today, were getting the Gardasil vaccines. I'm home sick today, but I can come into school just to get the shot. Is it safe, smart or a good idea? Please answer A.S.A.P, I need answers by today! HURRY!

I am sure it is fine...It shouldn't affect your cold--the nurse will let you know either way though if she can or can't do it...it's worth a shot, so go try.

I would never get this shot without fully researching it. It is a fairly NEW vaccine with NO long term studies done!

It does NOT protect against all cervical cancers.

More importantly, we DO NOT KNOW the long term affects of this shot! Who knows, perhaps they'll find in the future that you cannot bear children because of the shot. Or you'll have difficulty conceiving. There could be SERIOUS long term consequences of getting this vaccine.
