Hmmm interesting
I never thought of it that way. What doesn’t seem to matter to them (not ALL liberals mind you) is that those who serve volunteered to serve. Nobody should be forced to serve unless extremely dire times requires it. Those babies who are killed don’t have a choice.
Liberalism is a mental disorder is about the only answer I can supply here.

There is a huge difference. Maybe not in the respect of dying. Fact / abortion if done before 13 weeks, its not considered a fetus. People support abortion because it makes sence ! Why make a child suffer because they were unwanted or have a crack baby ect.? The war is no longer a personal choice ,I agree send the people who are for it we should not be there just as unwanted babies should not be born. Though you are still comparing to tottally different things here. We didn't ask for what happened should we have sat back and kissed there butts ? At this time it must come to a end ,taking care of our own .

I can almost see your logic in this, but I'm sure you know the answer already. There are many ways to show support. There are the people that are gonna be in your face talking about it, there are the ones that donate money, there are the ones that stand in the background & then the brave few that actually do the "dirty work".

By that same logic, anyone that supports gay marriage should be first in line to get married when / if the laws get changed. Support for something doesn't have to involve participation. All sports fans, do you play for the team you cheer for? No? Does that make you less of a fan / supporter? I didn't think so.

In both cases, the ideal does not necessarily fit the real. Not all hawks are trained soldiers or even trainable as soldiers, making them unfit for duty in Iraq. Not all abortion advocates have the medical training to perform abortions or to aid in the procedures. The logic doesn't really work for either situation.

No, because nobody supports abortion.
The #1 cause of abortion, is, was, and always will be the stigma on unwed mothers from the conservative right.
If counservatives really wanted do do something about the epidemic abortion rate, they would stop immediately. Instead, after promising to outlaw abortion, after 6 years in total power in the USA, they did nothing about abortion.

A very good point because obviously most of the lib-turds against the war are most certainly for baby killing.
After reading the above post I must reply. Killing a baby is a choice as is being a soldier....

Cons comparing everything they've screwed up to abortion is the funniest thing I ever read on here.
Iraq was a war of CHOICE based on lies, and people are dying for nothing...wanna compare that to abortion and tell me why you're not pro-choice?

People do not support abortion. They oppose government intervention in private medical decisions. I wish that abortion were not an issue. I wish that there were not one abortion performed in the US.
