I flushed my toilet this AM and the water went really high up (like it was about to over flow) then slowly went down and seemed as if all the water like disapeared from the bowl. It didn't flush the toilet paper either. HELP!!!!!!!!!!

When do I plunge it? I tried but it was hard since there was like no water in the bowl. Should I plunge right after I flush?

That happens a lot when you are flushing. Wait a few days, the toilet should be good as normal.
It will block the drainage outlet, and the water will flow up, like you are saying, 9 times out of 10, it will also flood your bathroom; so be careful.

You have a block somewhere. Drain-o might work, but you may end up needing to call a plumber in to clean out the line. It may be roots have growen into your sewer line. Is it backing up anywhere else? Toliet, sink?

Toilet blocked. If you're really lucky the blockage will have washed away, if you're really unlucky you're going to have to poke it with something to clear it out.
Give it another flush. If it happens again get the poking sticks out.

Fill a mop bucket with water, from waist height, pour directly in the drain hole.
