What helped me was saltines!! I ate some before even getting out of bed. Also salted nuts help too. Try to drink Propel or something like that if you are vomiting. It will help keep you hydrated.. and hang in there it doesn't last forever

First of all Congrats. Time will fly after the baby is born but while your pregnant it will be so slow. My baby is a year now. I was really sick too my entire pregnancy so hopefully you won't be. I kept saltine crackers by my bed and ate them before I got up. Make sure you move very slowly even if you feel fine cause it will hit you all the sudden. Morning sickness is no fun. The crackers will take care of the morning sickness and then you can eat whatever you little heart desires. Also water is very heavy on your stomach so if you aren't feeling well water will make you throw up. You can try Sprite it has no caffeine. It helps settle your stomach. 7 up anything like that. You don't need tea and coffee due to caffeine but I drank dr pepper the whole time and cokes and my daughter was fine. It was the only thing I could drink. Fountain cokes are the best cause it will help you burp up the gas on your stomach to help you feel better. That is how I made the full 10 months without throwing up. Salt isn't good for you but I had to eat like fries to help settle my stomach the salt really helped me. Hope that helps and Congrats. Take care

When I was pregnant, the best thing for morning sickness was breads, pretzels, anything that was wheaty and kindof sweet. I found that the best way to keep morning sickness away was to munch on breadlike things all throughout the day.

I haven't heard anything about types of milk or juice being a problem, in my opinion, if you are craving something go for it (assuming it's food) because your body will know what it wants and needs and your craving is probably just the message that that pizza (or whatever) has a lot of whatever energy source or nutrient you are in need of at the time.

Of course if your doctor tells you not to eat something specific, then follow that for sure, but otherwise enjoy your food, you can eat 20% more food everyday with no guilt!

Pate and cheese? Man, cheese is dandy (not for morning sickness), but pate? Blecch. I'm six months pregnant and will eat just about anything (as long as the reflux stays at bay)...but pate...yuck.

Milk is fine, in fact it's very good for pregnant bodies...but juice is acidic, and if your stomach is already upset, it really won't help you feel better.

Soda crackers work well for me in bringing down the nausea feeling...when it got really bad, I would eat really bland things...or even just a broth, to get something into my stomach.

You can eat anything you want to. They tell you no cheese but they mean no none pasturized cheese, such as goats cheese or certain fetas.

A healthy diet with whole grains, veggies, fruits and lean meats are what you should be eating.

If you're sick, eat WHATEVER will stay down.

Aside from certain fish theres nothing you cannot eat. The other thing are just precautions.

You can drink anything. You HAVE to get calcium, so milk and cheese are needed for your body and the baby's.

i don't know what pate and cheese is.. well, i know what cheese is.. i am pregnant, and eat it all the time.. you just can't eat "soft" cheeses.. but those are all the like, french kinds, and i am american, and don't like to eat stuff that smells like feet anyway!! :)

ok, as for diet, just eat healthy.. make sure that you are eating meat for protein, fruits, veggies.. etc.. and if water does not do it for you, you can have pretty much anything you want, watch the caffeine.. but remember... you are pregnant, not handicapped!!!
good luck!

Try eating very bland things like crackers or toast. Juice and milk made my morning sickness worse. If you usually feel sick when you first get up in the morning then try leaving crackers on your nightstand so you can eat one first thing in the morning. That might help it. Congrats on baby! :)
