HEY! can anyone send me pics of the right mushrooms to pick? [e-mail]. (yes the trippy ones)?

i want to have an enlightening experience. i have some good rain right now, and i am in a muggy climate. the ones i see that i am curious about are: dark brown, about the size of a qaurter, growing from where there was ONCE fecal matter . yeah gross huh? so if anyone who is EXPERIENCED can help?

I'm not going to tell you not to do it. I've been clean and sober over 5yrs. and I'm still not going to tell you no. If I were there to show you the right and wrong ones I would show you, but I'm not. No book or forum can guide you safely. I know you're impatient (ah - youth) but the safest way to proceed would be to find some 'old fart' like me to be your mentor. Where do you find an old fart mentor? Look for a mycological or mushroom club in your area and go on one of there frequent forays this time of year. Someone in the group will be more than happy to help insure your first trip isn't to the ER. RScott

Hi Lea, Don't even try it or you'll go on a trip alright, a one -way trip. If you need information, talk to , a Forest Ranger in Humboldt County. Or better yet, Go to the Redwoods State University , in Eureka ,California. web ,and your sure to find answers to your gardening questions (also check ,Redwoods State Collage Agriculture Dept.) Ain't no better place to look for answers,then Mama herself ! Believe me ,they know all. Byee and don't try it until you know,you want a two way ticket don't you?

don't do it. mushrooms are very dangerous. There are many that look similar but they can be two different varieties and can KILL YOU
