What's the worst thing that can happen if you post a photo on a message board of yourself for people to see?
It doesn't have a background of any places, houses, etc., only a person's face. The people seeing it wouldn't know my name or anything, they would just see a picture of my face.
What's the worst thing that can happen ?

If you don't have any distinguishing features in it that would give away your location, I would think one of the worst things that could happen is that people would give their honest opinion of your appearance. Or they could take your pic and manipulate it to put it on other pictures so that your body was "different" (naked). People can be flattering or really cruel on the net.
My other half has pic's of himself on his bikes (motorcycles) on certain message boards, but these are boards he has been on for years, he has also personally met the mod's. These boards also will ban certain "keyboard commando's"
I guess my advice would be to not post your picture unless you fee 100% comfortable in the place your posting it. Don't just sign up for a board today then put your pic on it you never know who is looking at it.

If you are in the United States, contact the FBI. Just call the office closest to you and ask to speak with an agent. You might have to explain to the person who answers the phone, but insist on speaking with an agent. Ask how you can proceed with investigation and prosecution. If you were a minor when you took the photos of yourself, your brother still could be charged with crimes related to child pornography. Unless he had good reason to think you were an adult at the time the photos were taken, his possession and distribution of those photos might well be criminal. Since he is your brother, he likely has no defense about not knowing your true age. If the FBI has no interest, call your sheriff. Sheriffs often investigate this sort of thing. If the sheriff has no interest, try the police department in your city, town or village. The local police might be able to give your brother a little scare just by visiting him to make an investigation. It's possible that your brother broke the law just by abusing your password dishonestly. By doing so he essentially pretended that he is you. In some places that would be a crime. I'm sorry that you have such a pervert and abuser for a brother. If you are not at least 18 years old, your brother has committed a crime for which he can be prosecuted. I hope you seek prosecution. Anyone who would abuse his own sister like that would do as much or worse to other girls. I am Roman Catholic. Peace be with you.

They can upload your picture and post it anywhere.(porn sites, etc.) They can alter your picture using photo shop and put your face on someone elses body. The list is endless honey. Be damn careful! I know what can be done with pictures. I've been victimized with them. I highly recommend NOT posting your real picture or giving it out to anyone on line, unless you personally know them. It can get really ugly otherwise. Be careful!
