In 1929, Mizzou athletic director Chester M. Brewer, along with the Mystical Seven, began the tradition of smoking the Tiger-Sooner Peace Pipe at half time of the annual Missouri-Oklahoma football game. Mystical Seven represents Missouri and a similar organization represents Oklahoma in the ceremony.
