Kids today lack discipline.....many fathers and mothers do not fulfill their role as "PARENTS"....thus the kids are not taught to respect others and property and they end up wayward. In today's society most kids are in the "HIP" mainstream...they have to be "cool" by being "bad". It's a ridiculous concept and I think they need a good darn spanking. Where is the good old days when respect was the first thing people exercised?

I agree 100% with Calm, kids today are total monsters! I am only 26 and I look at children and think "Where are your parents?" I have a 6 year old and thank God I am raising her with respect for others. I feel bad for your sister but tell her to keep her head up, she will not be in Jr High forever it may just seem like it. As for the woman who told you to have her change her appearance that is the wrong answer! If she is comfortable with who she is then it is not her problem that the other kids are jerks! Good luck!

Sad to say that school has become really gotten bad about becoming a popularity contest. It was bad when I was in school and from what I've seen, it's gotten even worse. But like the first guy said, karma sucks. Your sister is probably a good person who's actually going to make something of herself while those other jerkoffs aren't. And in the long run, they'll eventually figure out that being mean to people won't get them anywhere in life. When they have to start paying bills on their own and have a family to provide for, they'll realize that being nice keeps their dumb @sses employed and their tune will change.

At times certain kids that feel stronger attract others to them and they form a group called "Bullies" these kids are cruel and grow up to stay that way unfortunately , if they are split up on time their power over others weakens . They sense that your sister is good and that they have found a prey .This is why they need to be reported to school officials or parents and at times we need to even change school to feel free. We all had those when we went to school ,if your sister can ignore them that would be the best, if not tell your parents about it and she should be moved to another school.
I do agree with Calm ! I really believe that parents are to teach their kids to respect others and that we as parents had more control of our kids .

Hi Butterfly
I am sorry to tell you this but some kids are just cruel and nasty.I bet the same people have pikced on her all the time and have been in her grade since the biginning. I would say if you love your sister talk to her and tell her to try to relax. i know how hard that is but if she lets it bother her it only will get worst. Has she told your parents and if so can they help.

Kids are the hardest in the would to deal with in respect to this.
sourly your sister has worked out ways to deal with this if it has been going on for so long?
if she is coping with it OK then there is nothing much you can do. if she is not then you need to get her some help and to do that you will need to talk to your parents or garden so that they will get a concealer into her life.
But i think it is for the most part that the kids feel so bad within them-self and they just wont to take the others down with them.
good luck with it

i am a sophmore in highschool and i have started to notice that they pick on others because there diffrent either there jealous cause there smarter or prettier or for some other reason.
alot of times it happens because we don't take others feelings into consideration.
i used to get picked on all the time until my 9th grade year
because i stopped letting it bother me and i stood up for my self
tell your sister that if shes tired of them picking on her then its time she do something tell her that when she goes to school to go with a i don't care what you think type of attitude tell her if she's shy try to fight it be more opn make new friends even if the ones she has nnow don't like that person it desn't matter what they think its what she thinks
thats the number one thing she needs to remember
It should never matter what others think only what you think cause you should never wast your time trying to please others it gets you no-where instead please yourself
thats what counts
i hope i helped
Sincerley

Their is something about her that set off the other kids insecurities, most kids pick on other kids because their in secure about themselves. All those that pick on her probably hang in groups because they can't stand alone. Tell her to just be herself because being what other want you to be only leads to a miserable existences.

since the third grade?
aww the poor girl
well honestly maybe she should switch up her look a little. im not saying change who she is, but kids mainly target other kids who look unkept/doesnt care about their appearance/unsure of themselves/frumpy/etc...
give her a little makeover and if shes shy encourage her to put herself a little more out there
and if the kids are still pickin on her then screw those kids, she might just be too mature and beautiful for those other kids and their all jealous
