Well, I am definitely a woman and I don't know what to make of that. I do not want to rule the world or anything else.
If a woman has found herself a good man that she has trust and faith in and has known long enough to know this to be true, then she should appreciate her man.

No, while we're fully capable, we were not created to be world leaders. Sure, there are advantages to being a woman in this current society, but there are disadvantages too. If we all switched rolls today, I'm sure we'd both be greatly disappointed. Ever try being a woman in a job surrounded by only men? Trying to be treated as an equal proved to be a fruitless endeavor.

The absolutely could, but they won't for some strange unknown reason. They'll marry and stay with abusive men, hide their true natural beauty behind loads of make up and they constantly cut up and fight each other. They blame "society" and the media for everything and always say "it's a man's world". Does that sound like "ruling the world" to you?
I have an adult daughter and I want her to have full confidence in herself and rule "her world", at least.

It's a lovely poem... but: Women don't "rule"...
They just refuse to be "ruled" any longer!
This is confusing to men who feel somehow
that the "rightful order" of things has been
upset....
As for "appreciate" their "man"...
Two-way street there, Jerry!
Appreciation, like respect, should be
EARNED! It isn't automatically "ceded" to
a "leige".
I've noticed that "man"kind seeks to control,
supress (or kill...) that which he is frightened of...
Could that be why for sooo many centuries, men
treated women like so much "chattel" ??
Property could not "transfer" to a woman.
Women could not "own/inherit" anything.
Women could not vote.
Women were traded from Father to
Husband.
Women had their husband (read
"Lord and Master"...) chosen FOR THEM!
By...surprise! another MAN.
A "dowry" was the "purchase price" !
of the woman a man had chosen for his "bride".
Do you think it is odd that women
have "had enough"??
Do you?
I like men. I've loved a few. But...
God save me! from a man who
"just wants to take care" of me.

I remember when I was in grammar school, our woman teacher slapped our hands with a ruler if we were disobedient.
