Dhoni is the perfect choice after Rahul!! Yuvraj cannot be a good captain because he doesn’t have a cool temper. He gets carried away more often than not!! Dhoni keeps his cool almost always, even in the trickiest of situations!! He has the potential to take the Indian team to new highs!!! Good luck Team India

I think it is the right decision for Dhoni to be the indian captain. Dhoni has one style of playing and that is pretty much hitting the ball for boundaries. Very few times has Dhoni had to play a match winning performance, and also during the twenty20 he was a real cool head and seemed to work well under pressure. With him as captain it will be alot less pressure for players like Tendulkar, Dravid and others who can focus on their batting more.

Now that India has won under his Captaincy, everybody thinks that he is right. But I still am not in favour of Dhoni and would have been happy had Yuvraj been the Captain. He has more experience than Dhoni and he is wiser than Dhoni who believes more in luck as one could see and observe in the matches.

well i feel the time will let us know all whether its a right decision to make him captain coz still he has not been tested in the ODI and test format where you have to be on the field for longer duration and have to keep on taking crucial decisions compared to the shorter version 20 20 where its a matter of just 3 hrs. But still he has shown the courage and determination and all the best to him and may india keep on winning matches like this and hope one day we will even be on par with side like australia who are world champions !

Dhoni is the better as a Indian captain in 20-20 world cup. but he has to show good performance in the series againest Australia.
He is not a good keeper as Dinesh Kartik.
So, There will have to some qualities in Indian captain.

As Dhoni has just skippered India to being 20/20 World Champions then obviously it was the right decision to make him captain.

BCCI took a bold step and went for a young captain for the T20 world cup and it paid off. The experiment is therefore extended to the ODI matches. It remains to be seen whether it is a right decision or not. I would put it this way; a bold decision in the right perspective.

Yes, Maahi is the best captain. The decision of making him captain is one of the most right decisions BCCI has taken. M.S.Dhoni is cool, smiling, has great leadership skills , humble, gives motivation to the young Inian team. He is the most ideal captain and a wonderful human being.
