im asking this because i was walking around asda one day and someone in the que asked me if i rode a bike whitch got me thinking do i look like a biker in normal clothes
i am a 20yr old female rides a cbr600rr tattoo's everywhere no piercings apart from my tonge and short spikey bright pink hair...

I think the common stereotype is a rough looking male wearing black leather on a Harley. In my minds eye I see long hair ,beard , mustache and tatts.
But in reality, there are 4 common species of biker, The previously mentioned, Sportbikers on their brightly colored bikes with their matching full suits, The BMW (type riders) with their orange or yellow reflective safety vests and a large number of non-specific riders of standard bikes.
Then there are the sub-species, motocross/off road, quad, and motard etc.
But, I think the most common image that "pops" into ones mind is the black leather clad Harley biker.

Ride on is right the black leather long hair image is what pops in to peoples heads for a male or female rider. If I had a dollar for everytime someone has gasped when they learned that we ride, I could buy a new bike. They say that we look like nice people!
There are different types of bikers the die hard harley type, is what some people think we all are. We both ride sportbikes, and have friends who ride cruisers and streetfighters. Like most bikers we have professional jobs during the week, but we don't transform on the weekends.Gear on biker, gear off not!
The only time that some random person asked if I ride, I was carrying the helmet around or they saw the yahama outside. Most riders around here you wouldn't know unless they told you or you saw them riding.

In the supermarket were you carrying a crash helmet thats a dead give away you are a biker lol .I think Hells Angels are the sterotype people think of as "bikers" I think what ever he wears my 34 year old son looks like a biker . He is 5ft 9 and well built He has a ginger beard and pony tail he has no piercings or tats but often wears a bandana even when he wears his Sainsburys uniform he looks like a biker in civvys. Mind you his partners brother-in-law &sister are late 50 s early 60s and normal loking they are bikers his partner & daughter ride pillion her son has just got his first bike . ,
but Bikes are best transport for many people in many walks of life I have seen some beautiful powerful bikes on the road and when the rider dismounts they are 75-80plus years old so I dont think the sterotyping works.

Bikers in the past were given a stereotypical image (jeans cut-offs boots leather tats piercings etc)generally now you get a full spectrum of people who ride from your chavvy 16 year old scooter riders to your keep up with the jones's bmw/honda gold wing rider.
Im just a girl who loves her bike honda hornet 600 i dont describe myself as any thing in particular all I know is that the best people I know ride bikes and we have a good time.
Ive no tats or piercings and I ride about 8000 miles a year

Do you live in America?
I live in America, more specifically in the Southwest. Here the stereotypical biker is obvious. Harley motorcycle, Harley tee-shirts, leather vests, riding boots, bandannas, long hair, etc. These guys are bikers 24/7. I don't think they have any other clothes in their wardrobes. Then there are the guys who play biker. We all know them... guys in their 40's, fairly successful in life, and enough money to but whatever bike they want. During the week they look just like everyone else, but on the weekends they transform into, "Urban Bad Boy." They put on all of their Harley attire, and ride around with a few of their poser friends. People who don't ride Harley's, aren't into all of that image crap. A lot of guys ride sport bikes, and various models of Japanese bikes. Unlike their Harley counterparts, you can't tell who rides a motorcycle by looking at them.

I never considered myself a biker. I just like to ride. I work way too many hours and I ride when I can. Myself? Shaved head, a couple of tats, no facial hair, no piercings. I suppose I'm big and ugly enough to look like a stereotypical biker if I dressed the part. But I don't.

conserving it short- maximum women could get mad/jealous. individually nonetheless, i don't think of she has any reason to. unlike you're "jointly". it is likewise not as in case you cancelled her to pass sleep with yet another woman, #a million mentioned she became into busy and so which you made different plans. You slept with yet another woman, different than for the reality that SHE had a boyfriend, what's the undertaking there? You and #a million are not precisely a pair and it does not sound like she became into putting in too a lot attempt before hand, so which you extremely had the main appropriate to do as you needed.

I'm typical in the group I go out with. Actually I'm one of the younger ones at 42. Tatts yes, piercings no.
All of us have regular day jobs and probably don't stand out in a crowd until we have our leathers on.
And we're all ugly according to my wife who comes out on the back as often as possible and is STILL looking for her first "fit biker".
Should I be worried? :-)
