They didn't send me an email when they gave me the badge, and they didn't send me one when they took it away either !

No, When i had my badge ages ago they never send me any email saying i got a badge. I just saw it in the homepage.

No they don`t notify you. One day you`ll log on and there it`ll be. The opposite can also happen and poof! it`s gone.
