Men do NOT find this attractive.
My own theory is the designers really hate women because they aren't select the worst.

voluptuous: see below

Its just a phase, really.
In the 50's, women with curvy shapes (Marilyn Monroe, Jayne Mansfield, etc) were considered to have the perfect body-type. Today, the fashion industry has chosen very thin women to wear high fashion clothing as the hang of the fabric on a slender woman looks very nice. I don't believe the fashion industry is encouraging women to lose weight like models, as much as showing the dress (etc) on the perfect mannequin.
The Ballet industry actually insists on its dancers to be painfully thin. That is more of a problem.

Some men dig the waif look, but most look for some meat. Men like full lips, breasts, and butts...none of which those models tend to have. I wish we could go back to the models of the early 90's...Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford....they had believable beautiful bodies and looked wholesome...not sunken like the girls these days.

many of them have starved them selves to death in an attempt to further their career .I think its not only sad but dangerous .little girls think this emaciated look is what they need, to be beautiful . i have even heard my girls aged 9 and 11 discussing which flavour of crisps has the least calories.(they are both already skinny)
how can being a bag of bones look attractive?

Can we say mental illness-victims of fashion.

I am beginning to believe that being a 'fashion victim 'is truly a mental illness !

I think its pretty disgusting to be honest. No idea why that would be attractive to anyone.

To each their own I guess.
