"Crocodile Rock" (MCA 40000) was originally off of "Don't Shoot Me I'm Only The Piano Player" (MCA 2100), side 2 track 4. It also appeared on "Greatest Hits" (MCA 2128) side 2 track 5, "To Be Continued..." (MCA 4-10110) disc 2 track 3, "Greatest Hits 1970 - 2002" (Mercury / Island / UTV / Rocket 440 063 479-2) disc 1 track 6, "Rocket Man - Number Ones" (Mercury / Island / Rocket B0008661-02) track 4. Live versions were on "Here And There" (MCA 2197) side 1 track 5, & "One Night Only" (Universal 440 013 050-2) track 6.
There were numerous other Elton only albums that included the song, like "The Very Best Of Elton John" from 1991, "The Best Of Elton John" (Columbia Special Products, 1981), "Milestones" (K-Tel, 1980), "The Superior Sound Of Elton John 1970 -1975" from 1984; along with other compilation albums like "Billboard Top Hits 1973", Time-Life 1970's collections, and others of the sort.
