Once I have two items, that's a list for me!
So I stroll in to Kroger's and simply grab a basket instead of a shopping cart (actually, folks around these here parts call it a "buggy") and fill that baby to the brim!
Here's a list from my last visit on Sunday, Sept. 23rd...
Wheat Chex cereal
1/2 gallon 2% milk
6-pack Yoo-hoo! chocolate drink, bottles
Boo-hoo! (no beer sales on Sunday)
Banquet turkey pot pies (2)
Pear fruit cups, pkg of 4
9 Lives Tender Nibbles, chicken & beef (for the neighbourhood cat - 3 cans for $1.00)
can of asparagus spears
DoubleMints

I only went in for 3 items, the milk, the catfood, and some shampoo, but I still need shampoo because I forgot! I still got some, don't worry!
Let's go shopping again sometime!
I need all the help I can get, I'm a bachelor.....

Well done you! I've always wanted to ram a pyramid of baked bean cans but never had the courage. I'm afraid the most interesting thing I've crashed into with a shopping trolley is just another trolley. I've felt like ramming some screaming brats as well I can tell you but resisted the temptation. Spoilt little sh!ts!

I think you'll get a variety of answers depending on whose answering you,
As a mom who shops once a week I always have a very detailed list made up from meal ideas for the week and specials from the store weekly ads.
I also find I buy way more than my list when my husband or kids are with me.

I not only have a list to go by, but I also use both store and manufacturers coupons, as it saves me a lot of money at the register.

My wife wrote a book for dealing with this, sold 4 million copies!

I make a list & add it all up. I use coupons & am right on the money at check-out time. I go down the list, get in, get out, because I hate grocery shopping

Here in the States if one were to say,
"I threw my Tele into the trolley"...

the translated assumption would be,
"I threw my guitar onto the bus".

Yes, list. Never remember to take the d@mn
thing with me to the store, however.

I have a mental list, but I always end up with more than I planned. Especially if I shop hungry.

I go shopping with a list in order to avoid impulse buying.

Make a list. If not, when I come home I always, inevitably discover I forgot something essential and I have to go back to the market only to get ''it''.
