This morning my wife got up to take a shower, and the water pressure was very low. I got in the shower after her, and the water pressure started out low, but gradually returned to seemingly normal by the time I was done my shower.

We are on a public water supply, and my plumbing is about 16 years old. I don't remember this happening before. I checked for leaks, but did not find any.

Is this something I should worry about? What could have caused this? Or am I worrying too much? Thanks!

If there was anything wrong with your system that is causing low pressure it would be low all the time so I dont see any problem with your system. you dont state where you live, are you near a vast new housing estate recently built, because to many people trying to draw off at the same time can cause pressure drop. Just remember that a supply pipe that was originally installed to cater for about one hundred homes is going to find it difficult to cater for five thousand which is what is happening today every where.
